Service

Regular servicing is very important in maintaining a safe working and efficient gas appliance. At Reliance Gas Services we offer a full safety, maintenance and performance check to ensure your appliances are not only safe but operating efficiently too. Our engineers are all gas safe registered and all carry the latest equipment including a Flue Gas Analyser.

So what can you expect from your service?

Before work is carried out our engineer will discuss the service with you and determine any problems or concerns you may have. At all stages through the service our engineer will keep you fully informed.
A full risk assessment is carried out to ensure everyone is safe and your property is protected
A visual inspection of the appliance, flue and the system to confirm it is suitably installed and conforms to all relevant regulations.
An initial flue gas analysis is carried out (where applicable) to establish pre service performance
Detailed inspection of the combustion chamber, heat exchanger, burner etc
Detailed inspection and testing of appliance safety devices and controls
Detailed check and adjustment, where necessary of the appliance operation
Flue gas analysis of the appliance to confirm complete and proper combustion (where applicable)
Confirmation that the appliance is operating safe and efficient
Finally our engineer will complete all service and safety paperwork and offer any relevant advice.

Repair

At Reliance Gas Services we pride ourselves on our customer service and we know how distressing it can be when gas appliances breakdown.

That’s why we aim to get to you and have your appliance fixed as soon as possible. Our engineers are all highly trained and carry the most common boiler spares on their van, therfore in most cases we can repair your fault on the first visit, saving you time and unnecessary expense.

Landlords Gas Safety Inspections

The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 require that all Gas appliances and associated pipe work that is fitted in rented accommodation are subject to inspection and certification every twelve months. It is a criminal offence if the landlord or their appointed Managing Agents do not comply with these Regulations.

Reliance Gas Services operate a competitive, efficient and reliable service to landlords ensuring all appliances are fully serviced as well as checked for the requirements of a Landlords Gas Safety Inspection. We offer competitive rates with further discounts for properties containing multiple appliances.

Upgrades and Power Flushing

We can also carry out upgrades and improvements to your existing heating and hot water system. For example adding additional radiators, fitting energy saving controls and installing MagnaClean heating filters/dirt seperators.
